Why you won't find me if you're looking

I'm seeing patients tomorrow and then heading for a solo trip to Wisconsin for the weekend to celebrate the life and magic of my friend Elise, who passed last month. I'm going to be with two friends who love and shared magic with Elise.

I've learned quite a bit through this recent grieving process; one that hit closer to home. One thing I want to share as relatively unsolicited advice (it's not completely unsolicited because you opened this message from me and it's my newsletter, so I get to say what I want) is that asking what happened or knowing the details of someone's passing doesn't change that they're gone. But it's almost always the first question that people ask.

Knowing why someone died doesn't make their passing less painful, and it can actually be really painful to recall the process of passing for those left behind.

I choose to recognize that my friend is cancer-free, that she is now existing without pain, and that she's ever-present and her energy and magic continues to envelope those of us still here.

I digress.

This weekend, I'll be gone to celebrate Elise's beautiful existence, and I am thrilled about it. I'm not sure how much I'll be available, but if you send me an email, I most likely won't check it until next week.

And I'll be available for a week and then peacing out for Love Week (which I told y'all about in my last newsletter, but for those of you new here: we celebrate a birthday and an anniversary in less than a week, so I'm going off the grid to spend time with my incredible family without distraction).

Because of that, I want to tell you honestly that I will be a little less available if you have questions about online courses, new limited edition or consistent favorites from Beautycounter, or anything else.

I want to thank you in advance for orders you place for safer skincare for yourself or gifts for others. Any orders placed for the rest of this month will be receiving a special gift in the mail from me AND will be entered to win a full-size All Bright Vitamin C Serum from me!

One last note: a lot of people are leaving social media because it's hard to be on there right now, but I'm definitely able to enjoy connecting with others, sharing information, and watching Tabitha Brown sing on repeat. So if you don't see me on there, it's simply because I'll be in a car for freakin ever, celebrating magic, or celebrating Love Week! I hope you don't miss me too much. ;-)

Hugs to you.
