Raleigh Chiropractic Care (Video)

Hi. I'm Dr. Lindsay Mumma. Welcome to Triangle Chiropractic and Rehabilitation Center. I'd like to tell you a little bit more about what we have to offer here and why it might be a right fit for you to come and check us out.I'm more of a functional chiropractor than most chiropractors you're probably used to. Instead of spending 3 to 5 minutes with each of my patients, I usually spend 15 to 20 at a minimum. Your first visit is about 45 minutes to an hour long, and that would give me the chance to put you through some functional movement training so I can figure out how you're moving, how you can maybe move a little bit better, and what could be causing your pain.At that point, we can decide together what's going to be the best treatment option for you. In my office you're never going to get the three times a week for the rest of your life that you might be used to hearing from other chiropractors. I work individually with each of my patients to figure out what best suits their needs as well as takes care of any issues that they might have.In addition to adjusting or manipulation or cracking and popping, I also do rehabilitation work with my patients. I do soft tissue treatments, such as ART or Graston, if you're familiar with those. I'm one of the very few practitioners in the area that does Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization or DNS, which is actually a really great technique. It started over in Germany. It's kind of gotten really big in Europe, and it's now trickling its way over to the United States.DNS is a really interesting technique. It was based off of babies with cerebral palsy, and the treatments that they were doing for them actually applied to people post-stroke or even just regular people who didn't necessarily have some sort of traumatic brain injury, but who could benefit from essentially resetting their neurological system. So it's a really great tool that I have that tends to work with a lot of patients. So maybe you don't like adjustment. Maybe you get scared of that cracking, popping noise. I have a lot of other things that I can do with patients. So whether you've been to a chiropractor or whether you've never been to a chiropractor and think this could be a good fit for you, if you're looking to improve functional performance, such as sports, maybe you'd like to get off the couch and run a 5K, maybe you're doing your first marathon and need a little tune-up, whatever the reason, I'm more than happy to help and I'd love to be here for you.So come see us at Triangle Chiropractic and Rehabilitation Center. We're in the Twin Forks Office Park, right on Six Forks Road at 6060A. We're nestled in between Sandy Forks, Six Forks and Lynn Road. So come by and see us today, and we'd love to help you out. Thanks.
